Celebrates Poetry Festival at Guntur (AP, India)

UNESCO celebrates March 21 as World Poetry Day. Contemporary Literary Review India is extending this celebration by being a co-partner with the 9th International Poetry Fest-2016 organized by P. Gopichand & P. Nagasuseela at Guntur.

Since 2008, P. Gopichand & P. Nagasuseela, (Professors with J K C College, Guntur-522006, Andhra Pradesh, India) have been organizing International Poetry Fests. All these nine years, they have been striving hard in propelling peace, harmony and excellence in the field of art, education and literature. Poets, critics and writers from various parts of the world have been continuously extending their support and participation in this great effort to spread peace through poetry.

We firmly believe that your support and participation will strengthen our mission to spread peace. We invite poets, authors, and readers to be part of this poetry festival. We invite submission of poems and your participation in the fest.

Submission Criteria
Category: Poetry. Submit your two best poems.
Theme: Peace, Human Values and Environment issues. (Though not a condition)
Length: Not more than 20 lines each.
Poetry Type: None rhyming scheme, previously unpublished, original.
Deadline: March 31, 2016
Submission Fee: None.
Anthology: Best selected poems will be complied into an anthology with ISBN through Leaf Press. The book will be placed at most of the online bookstores for sale.
Contributory Copy: Each author will get one contributing copy of the anthology for free of charge.
Anthology Release: The anthology will be released on the day of the poetry festival.
Recitation: Authors will have the opportunity to recite their poems at the fest.
Venue: JKC College, Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. India.
Poetry Festival date: 20th and 21st September 2016
Authors: All participating authors are welcome to attend the poetry festival and recite their poems. They will have the opportunity to discuss and share their ideas about poetry and its impact on people and society.

Those who want to attend, please inform us in writing. However, even those writers who cannot make to the festival personally, can submit their poems.
