Submission to the print edition CLRI 2018 Annual Edition (ISSN 2250-3366) is open now


Contemporary Literary Review India (CLRI) invites submission in the following categories:

Research papers (Criticism)
Any length. Include an abstract in 100-200 words, 5-6 keywords, ample in-text citation and footnotes, and homogenous bibliography. Format your paper in MLA style. Must be well written and edited. Submit only 1 paper.
Stories
Length between 1500 to 3000 words. Stories that follow story-telling formulas, express innovative ideas, show rebellious thoughts, highlight current social and political conditions in the country or the world will be preferred. Must be well written and edited. May submit 1-2 stories in one bunch.
Poems
Length between 25 to 50 lines, none rhyming scheme, innovative thoughts, rebellious ideas, break away from tradition. Strong English, high imagination, expansive landscape, and global viewpoints are preferred views. Submit between 4-5 poems in one bunch.
Arts/Photographs
Previously unpublished, original. Will be published in Black & White.

Reading Fee
For poems: INR 500 / US$25
For research papers & stories: INR 1000 / US$50
If you want to submit in one more than one genre, calculate the amount and make the payment. Example: If you want 3 poems and one story, you need to pay Rs 1500 (US$75).
Note: We ask for a reading fee and not publication fee. This means making the payment does not guarantee publication. Only the writing with merit will be published.
Reading Fee Waiver
All paid subscribers are exempted of the reading fee.
Contributory copy
All participants, irrespective whether their writing is published, will be given one paperback copy for free.

Contemporary Literary Review India has a couple of openings in the following posts.
Section Editors: For this position, the applicants must be currently teaching at some colleges, universities, or academic institutes. Must have sound and proven knowledge in English literature. Must have published research papers in academic journals.
Reviewer: You can become a reviewer with us. It is notable that you need to be more active with us. We will assign you writing regularly for review. We aspect timely turn around and regular communication. However, we do not pay any remuneration to the reviewers in this capacity.

Editorial: You can write editorial for us for each issue. Our online edition comes out quarterly with Feb/May/Aug/Nov schedule. The editorial must be of literary interest. However, we do not pay any remuneration for editorials in this capacity.

Credit: All the contributors will added on our editorial board. We do not pay any remuneration for the above three positions. 
Paid Positions
Contemporary Literary Review India is looking for capable people for the following positions.
Copy Editors: For this position, the applicants must have strong knowledge of English language. May desirably have experience in editing.
Book Reviewers: For this position, the applicants must have strong knowledge in English literature. Must have interest in writing book reviews.
Business Manager: We welcome any person who wants to take our endeavor ahead and generate revenue for us through various sources. We offer a commission for the Business Manager.

Contemporary Literary Review India (CLRI) provides training and lectures to academic institutions, colleges, universities, libraries in the disciplines such as arts and humanities, English literature, science, commerce, pharmacy and nursing, and other disciplines. The training is targeted for researchers, thesis writers, MPhil and PhD students, independent researchers, lecturers, professors, and authors to write the papers for the journals globally.
Training for Research Scholars (MPhil & PhD)
Our training includes the following areas.

    1. Guide the researchers and authors how to prepare research papers for journals. This training is helpful to those who are new into the research field such as those who are pursuing M.Phil. and PhD degrees and want to write best research papers.
    2. Guide on how to format the papers. This training will help the authors prepare the papers for international journals.
    3. Where to publish. We train the researchers which journals they should choose to publish and which journal they should not. What is predatory journal and what is publication ethics?
    4. Why editing is necessary? Why editing is important? Why you should focus on editing.

          Duration: The training is tailored for 2-4 hours.
          Schedule: We train on the premises of the colleges, universities, and academic institutions. Please share your choice of dates (days) and time. We will let you know which time and dates we are available.
